  19. Normally I use external modems, but this one has quite a few of us foxed.

  34. The port is recognised in modem properties & diagnostics
  35. with More Info correctly talks to the modem.

  37. The non-standard bit is that although the O/S has installed the
  38. plug-n-play card as COM1, it has chosen  IRQ 10 &
  39. input/output address D400-D43F.

  41. Win98 seems unwilling to let me change i/o address & irq,
  42. but seeing as the diagnostics can talk to the modem, why
  43. can Kermit95 not?
